What are the self-study modules in Including learners' languages?

Module 1 – Understanding how languages shape learning

This module helps you explore how language affects learning, participation and inclusion in your classroom. You’ll look at building awareness of multilingual realities and some practical ideas to help you include learners’ languages in class.

Module 2 – Fostering an inclusive language environment

This module focuses on making classrooms more inclusive by developing awareness of classroom language and valuing the languages learners bring to class.

Module 3 – Planning for language-responsive teaching

This module explores how to plan for multilingual classrooms and support learners through language-responsive teaching practices across the school and wider community.
