Do not go gentle into that good night

This lesson is designed to introduce students to Dylan Thomas’ poems which focus on the theme of death. We recommend you use it with older learners and consider if your students are mature enough to deal with the topic. The subject is likely to bring religious issues and beliefs to the surface and it is important that students are aware that they should keep an open mind, and that differences in opinion should be expressed respectfully.
