The English and School Education team at the British Council is reviewing our grant work portfolio this year. As part of this process, the English Language Research Awards (ELTRAs) will be on hold for the upcoming year. We will therefore not be issuing a call for ELTRAs in 2025–26. We will update this page with details of our plans once our review is complete.
