Supporting remote learning is one of the professional practices in the British Council's teacher educator framework. It involves using different learning channels (F2F, virtual, hybrid), and synchronous and asynchronous tools and platforms both generally and in order to support teacher learning. It also includes being able to identify, select and create digital content that supports teacher learning as well as creating a motivating, supportive and inclusive remote learning environment for teachers. The ability to manage remote learning effectively, including basic technical troubleshooting and using and integrating technology in a way that is safe, legal, ethical and responsible is also an important aspect of this practice.
