Adopting inclusive practices is one of the professional practices in the British Council's teacher educator framework. This involves recognising, valuing and promoting positive attitudes to diversity among teachers. It also involves identifying barriers to inclusivity and taking action to address these. Teacher educators can develop their knowledge and use of teacher education practices to create an inclusive learning environment in order to treat all teachers fairly and with respect. They can also increase their understanding and application of assessment and evaluation methods that give all teachers the opportunity to demonstrate what they know and can do.
