Session 1: Social and emotional learning in classroom management

In this interactive session, you will learn how the integration of social and emotional strategies can help create a structured, emotionally managed learning environment. These strategies can be used with learners of all ages. You will come away with a range of social-emotional infused activities for classroom management that will not only help manage your learners but can also make our lives that little bit easier!
Session 2: Building rapport and managing stress with teens

Session information:
This webinar is aimed at teachers of secondary-age learners and will look at some practical activities to help build rapport with and between our learners. Several of the activities involve learners looking inward and reflecting on their feelings and actions. We know teachers are busy, so many of the activities presented will require minimal preparation or resources. The activities will be suitable for both a face-to-face and online classroom.

About the speakers
Anna Hasper is a primary-trained ELT teacher and teacher trainer based in Dubai. She has worked in a range of global training contexts for education ministries, the British Council, UNICEF and educational publishers. Anna is passionate about teaching teens and young learners and is interested in research on social and emotional learning.
Teresa Bestwick is a teacher and teacher trainer based in Spain. She writes coursebooks for teenage learners and also blogs on this topic. Her other interest is professional development; she works with the teachers' organisation TESOL-SPAIN and runs an online development group for ELT professionals called The TEFL Development Hub.
Hiba Mahmood Ali is an experienced ELT professional from Saudi Arabia. She has a decade of experience working as an ESL teacher in international schools.
Alicja Sablik is a professional skills trainer, teacher and special educational needs champion at the British Council Poland, where she's been working for the past 9 years.
Marina Yesipenko has been a practicing ESL teacher and teacher trainer for 15 years in the Czech Republic. At the moment she is also training to be a Gestalt therapist.

Certificates of attendance are available for all attendees. The link to obtain your certificate is provided in the following places:
- at the end of the webinar in the chat box in Zoom and in the moderator's comments on Facebook- in the 'Thank you for attending email' that you will receive after the webinar if you registered and watched on Zoom.
