What have other teachers said about the group?

'The Facebook group and Facebook Live events have been incredibly helpful in my professional development. Through the group, I’ve been able to connect with other educators, share ideas, and learn from their experiences. The discussions and resources shared in the group have given me new strategies to apply in my classroom.'

'The Facebook group helped me realize I'm not the only one that has difficulties in my classes. I also appreciate the openness of the exchanges. I felt free and appreciated the tips and hacks offered to solve other teachers concerns.'

'The Facebook group and live events were incredibly helpful for me. Being a teacher from Ukraine, I found it vital to connect with others who understand the challenges we face. For example, I saw even more strategies for supporting displaced learners, which gave me practical ideas I could implement right away in my classroom. It felt reassuring to be part of a community that truly cares about our students' well-being and shares resources and support.'

What extra resources are there?

You'll get access to daily posts that explore themes from the training courses – discussion prompts, links to articles, recorded events and other resources.

You're encouraged to participate in your own way. Join the conversation by sharing your questions, ideas and suggestions in discussions facilitated by expert tutors, or read and reflect privately. You can also share your learning and insights outside the group with colleagues in your context.

The group content is organised into a series of Guides, which you can work through at your own pace. Even if a course is closed, you'll still get access to all the extra content via the Guides.

Are there live events?

Yes. Our expert tutors host regular live events in the group, and you can watch most of these events on YouTube too. Recordings of live events are available on demand, and you can continue to ask questions and continue the discussion with other community members and course tutors in the comments. Community polls allow you to choose the focus of live events, and different types of live events mean that there's a wide variety of topics and focus.
