Community video call-out 2025–26
We'd love to hear your voice!
We're inviting our TeachingEnglish community members to share short videos (around one minute) with your own teaching tips, reflections, or advice. Whether it’s a strategy that's worked well for you, a classroom moment that made a difference, or how you've used TeachingEnglish resources like webinars, lesson plans or courses – we want to hear what matters to you and your learners.
By sharing your experience, you'll:
- inspire other teachers around the world
- gain recognition among the global teaching community by showcasing your experience
- reflect on your own teaching strategies and resource use – an important part of professional growth
- help others discover practical ways to use TeachingEnglish materials in real classrooms
- achieve a certificate of participation to recognise your contribution.
Submit a video
What type of video can you submit?
You could talk about one or more of the following areas of TeachingEnglish.
- A TeachingEnglish resource (lesson plan, podcast, webinar, publication, etc.)
Record a short one minute video telling us how you've used and benefited from a TeachingEnglish resource. This could be a lesson plan, podcast, webinar or publication.
- What was the resource?
- What did you do with it? / What did you take from it?
- How did your learners respond?
- A TeachingEnglish three-monthly theme
Our theme for October–December is Planning lessons and courses (e.g. defining intended learning outcomes and course objectives that meet your learners' needs). Managing the lesson (e.g. creating positive classroom environments through signalling, instructions and other classroom management techniques) will run January–March 2026.
Do you want to contribute to our theme-related content?
Your one-minute video could cover:
- a change you have made in your classroom, saying what you did and how your learners responded
- the best piece of advice you received, explaining why it was so helpful
- an insight or tip you would give to others, explaining how this tip has supported your own teaching.
- A TeachingEnglish evergreen theme
TeachingEnglish is committed to supporting teachers to create safe, empowering environments for learning by integrating social justice themes like gender equity and inclusion throughout its resources.
Share your insights and teaching ideas related to:
