Much Ado about Nothing
Introduction
In these lessons students will learn about Shakespeare and they will discover one of his most famous comedies, Much Ado about Nothing, and will have the opportunity to take part in a debate. This plan includes ideas for follow up projects; including re-enacting a 60 minute version of Much Ado about Nothing and creating a poster about Shakespeare's home town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

- Identify the main ideas and themes presented in a shakespearean text with appropriate scaffolding and support
- Participate actively in a class discussion about one of Shakespeares plays
- Practice taking part in a debate.

Many of the Shakespeare links - eg. the lesson plan for Hamlet's Soliloquy and Much Ado About Nothing, do not work. A pity.
