Hi Nasfisa,

This course does not open until the 7th of January so you won't be able to enrol until then.

There is no limit to the number of people who can enrol on any course so you do not have to worry about enrolling early.

All interested participants will be able to enrol as soon as the course opens.

In the meantime, please check our course information page to see if there is another course you would like to start now. There are 9 courses currently open which you can start now and 8 new courses starting at the beginning of October.

I hope you find something that is suitable for your teaching needs.

So just to be clear - we can only sneak into the course on the exact day it opens, right? 👀 And when it does, will there be a magical little ‘Join’ button waiting for us to click our way in? Just want to make sure we don’t miss the secret doorway, thanks a bunch!

Hi Jacqueline,

Don't worry, there's no secret doorway to join this course. There will be a period of enrolment (opening soon!) before the course starts in January and you will also be able to enrol at any time while the course is open (January – March).

Please check our courses page to see which courses are currently open for enrolment and where you can also download our training courses calendar for 2025-26 and check the course FAQs.

Are units the same as modules? I just completed the three units on the Your Week Ahead" page, but I don't know if there is more to do, or where to find it.

Also, do I need to upload notes or comments I make in the workbook? If I do not join the Facebook community, must I upload the notes or comments to another location?

Hi John

Thanks for your comment.

There are three modules (plus an introduction and resources module) for each course. Each module has three units that you need to complete before you move on to the next one.

The workbook is for you to work on in any way you like, but you don't need to upload any notes or comments from it - they are for your own learning and reflection. Joining the Facebook community is totally optional. Even if you don't join, once you complete all the modules successfully you will receive your course certificate.

Hope that helps - please find answers to more frequently asked questions about our training here: https://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/training/courses/training-courses-faqs

Thanks - I hope that helps!

Hi f3o0x

Thanks for your comment. This course won't be showing yet as it doesn't open until January 2026.

If you have already enrolled, this course will appear in the 'closed' courses tab when you go to 'My portfolio - my courses'. When the course begins it will appear when you enter in 'My courses'.

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Cath

All you units in the Modules are insightful and will apply them in teaching practice.

Hi DavidC

This course is running until 31st May. You don't have to join the Facebook community - it's just a way of interacting with other course members and also means you can join live events related to the course, but it is not necessary to join it to be able to complete the modules.

Hope you enjoy the course!

Hello! : )

Hi DavidC

This course has 3 modules, each containing 3 units. If you log in to 'My Portfolio - My courses' and then click on 'My learning - My courses' you should be able to see the course. At the top there is a menu with the five tabs (Introduction, module 1, module 2, module 3 and Resouces), and from there you can navigate to the different units within the modules.

You don't need to upload any notes or comments anywhere.

I hope that helps, please let us know if you have more doubts / questions.

I can't enroll the course. When I tap the blue button to enroll, it just leads me to 'My courses' section and I don't know how to continue. Thanks in advance.
