Recognise your students' achievements.
Once your students have chosen their blank badge builder from one of our four great designs, you can award them with ‘badges’ for good work in different categories at the end of a class or activity.
Encourage them to be more reflective learners and develop their writing skills.
Below each badge is a space for the student to write a short sentence to explain what the badge was awarded for.
The different badge categories are:
- Speaking English
- Good writing
- Good reading
- Good listening
- Good grammar
- Good vocabulary
- I did my homework
- I listened to the teacher
- I arrived on time
- I worked well with my classmates
- Good behaviour

Motivation and teens
Hi lucy1207
Teens can be from 13-17, but obviously it depends on the group as to whether they will find an activity engaging or not.
You might find these resources on motivation useful:
An article on motivation with links to further resources, including an article on motivating teens:
A webinar all about engaging teen learners:
Hope you find these useful,

Teens are supposed to be what age?
I cant imagine it could work for my secondary learners (15-16 y)
Their only motivation is not to get a bad mark (and sometimes they do not care at all!)
