Course reviews
What have other teachers said about how English in the multilingual classroom helped them?
"Before the course, I was stuck with the idea that English language instruction should only use target language for developing the optimum competence and performance in English. But during and after the course, I have understood the multilingual classroom as a resource itself. I have started utilise the learners' home language (Nepali in my context) judiciously."
Course participant, Nepal
"I have changed my teaching methods in the class, as before joining the this course I always give my instructions in English without any consideration to other languages and various nationalities. Currently I prefer to apply multilingualism approach because I could prove to other colleagues its benefits, since my students like this teaching method which helping me to raise and promote their standards considerably."
Course participant, Chad
"This course truly encouraged me to use planned code switching and bilingual communication. I was one of them who feels guilty about code switch. I found many ideas over here how teaching can be more inclusive, and learner centered."
