Teaching as a meaningful purpose
Hello everyone!
The most important part of the video for me was teacher talking about the importance to teach as a meaningful purpose. Students want to learn only things they understand why that subject is important for their lives.
Motivating students
I think is important to use the inherent motivation that student have, but is important also to construct a external motivation using all these techniques that are presented in the video.
Motivating demotivating students
And how to motivate Ss who are not interested in learning at all? I'm teaching a group of very stubborn teenagers who never listen when I say why we're learning a particular thing. They simply don't want to make any effort in the class, not to mention working alone at home.
