I had one such teacher who taught us to value education. Always animated and willing to try out new things, she firmly believed in the concept of group learning. Her innovative tasks for class groups helped me to over come my shyness and participate with enthusiasm in all tasks.
Today when I teach, I use - with some modifications - the techniques of co-operative learning and the results are quite encouraging. Distractions are minimized and at the same time various kinds of latent talents are also discovered.
The positive feedback that I receive from students during my teacher evaluation of students is a great reward.
