About this year's World Teachers' Day event

This year, our World Teachers’ Day Online Conference will be a truly global event, designed to reach every teacher in every part of the world.

As with previous years, British Council TeachingEnglish will be hosting a series of talks, workshops and panel discussions that focus on the theme ‘'Teachers at the centre of a changing world'.

This unique online event will move around the globe with sessions happening in different time zones during the day. Starting in Vietnam and ending in Mexico, we aim to provide teachers around the world with opportunities to attend the event in their own time zone and share ideas with teachers in their region and around the world.

Hi Thaokim,

The theme of the conference is ' teachers at the centre of a changing world' so all proposals relevant to the theme will be considered. The proposal form gives you more information, and the link to the CPD framework for you to indicate which professional practice the proposal is linked to: Good luck with the proposal :)
