This lesson contains a series of activities to discuss the best age for young people to have political responsibility.

 Students will talk about what it means to be an adult, read some texts in order to understand opinions and talk about what makes a good citizen.

Topic: The voting age, young people’s rights and responsibilities.

• To practise speaking about rights and responsibilities
• To practise reading skills – understanding opinions
• To think and speak about what makes a good citizen and the concept of citizenship
