Professional development video: organising appraisals

In these two videos, Dan Humm Soriano and Loraine Kennedy discuss how appraisals are organised where they work.

Video 1: Dan Humm Soriano

According to Dan, the most important thing about appraisals are that they are ongoing rather than a summary of everything that’s been during the year. He talks about how the organisation where he works uses quarterly appraisals, which is more of an informal conversation to discuss progress and assess continuous goals.

Video 2: Loraine Kennedy

Loraine discusses the performance management system in her organisation, which is an annual cycle including 4 meetings during the year.
