Online workshop for teacher educators

Are you a teacher educator? Are you training and supporting teachers online at the moment? Watch this workshop to see some hands-on practice activities and ideas using online collaboration tools. 

This workshop is for teacher educators and those who are/will be running online teacher training sessions. In this 90 minute session we used loop input methodology so that participants experienced the online workshop and then had an opportunity to discuss the steps involved in putting the workshop together.

About the session facilitators:

Deepali Dharmaraj has been working on large-scale teacher development projects across India for over a decade in the areas of project design and implementation focussing on academic quality. She is particularly passionate about teacher professional development, education policy and multilingualism. Her own professional development has been in the area of using technology and she has, over the past couple of years, developed her skills in creating audiovisual and digital content for a variety of projects including the Becoming a Better Teacher course on FutureLearn on which she is Lead Educator.

Reshmi V M is a British Council training consultant specialising in written and spoken communication skills. She has worked with a wide range of participants from India, the Middle East, and South East Asia to support their growth. This has given her an in-depth understanding of working in multi-cultural teams and contexts, helping her relate to the challenges faced by many working professionals today. She joined British Council in 2017 and has delivered programmes for both corporate and not-for-profit organisations.
