Nik Peachey - Managing the digital classroom

In this talk, Nik looks at the techniques teachers can employ to incorporate digital devices for learning.

About the webinar

The language classroom is becoming an increasingly complex environment with students attending classes equipped with a variety of digital devices. These devices can become a tiresome distraction or a powerful tool for learning depending on the skill and knowledge of the teacher.

In this workshop we will explore together a range of digital tools and teaching techniques that teachers can use to utilize the presence of digital devices in the classroom and make them productive. The workshop will show how we can use these devices to enable digital collaboration and develop a range of traditional and digital literacies in ways that are not possible in the analogue classroom.
