The Garden Project: Bringing Learning to Life with Sustainable ELT Practices

Watch a recording of this webinar with The Garden Project team, ELTons 2020 Local Innovation Award winners.

About the webinar

The Garden Project is a Project Based Learning (PBL) 3- level ELT course for pre-primary that adopts a sustainably hands-on approach where students learn English by growing their very own Garden in the Box, documenting their learning through the Wonder, Observation and Investigation of nature.

The Garden Project, Brazil Edition is winner of the 2020 ELTons Local Innovation Award and fruit of the collaboration between Hoopla Education, specialists in nature-inspired education, and Macmillan Education do Brasil, leaders in ELT publishing in Brazil.

Learner and teacher resources were especially adapted to reflect the great variety in Brazil’s climate, flora and fauna to provide a truly authentic purpose for language learning within a context children in Brazil can identify with.

This webinar was recorded on 4 March 2021
