Encouraging learners to explore language through creative activities

Watch a recording of Adam Simpson's webinar, where he looks at exploring language through creative activities.

About the webinar

Encouraging learners to explore the language through creative activities in class is not as difficult as it may at first appear. This webinar looks at the barriers to creativity, then how might overcome such hindrances. The session rounds off with a number of easily adaptable activities which facilitate creative thinking

Every time our learners speak in a new language, they are essentially exploring their creativity. Nevertheless, all too often these are lost opportunities, both for us as teachers and for our learners. It is all too easy to get bogged down in getting through a task and moving on to the next bit of language to be learned, and what we sacrifice is the creative spark of the people whose language skills we are trying to develop.
