Theme: Cooking and food trends in the UK

This lesson focuses on cooking and the rising popularity of TV chefs. Students will firstly learn and review vocabulary related to cooking and kitchen utensils. They will do a mini-survey to find out their classmates’ cooking habits, read about cooking trends in the UK, read and complete a recipe, and then finally write their own recipe.


Aims:

• To review vocabulary related to food and cooking
• To practise speaking skills
• To practise reading skills
• To practise writing skills

Age group: 12- adult


Level: B1 / B2


Time: 60 – 90 minutes
