Experimenting different activities, games and methods in my classes helps me a lot to develop. I do weekly presentations for local teachers which improves me lot as a teacher. In order to make that I need to do research so I share with other teachers and learn at the same time. Taking part in different workshops and conferences is also very helpful.

I strongly believe in teacher training courses that helped me a lot to develop as a teacher and improve my teaching skills and become experienced enough. Furthermore, workshops held by local and oversea presenters maintained the development and sharing experiences among colleagues and peers.

Education is a life-long process. We, teachers, learn all our life. Thanks to the teacher-training seminars, workshops, online courses that help us  make our teaching more productive and interesting. Besides, we develop as teachers when we attend conferences, learn international experience in ELT and share it with our peers.

I am currently taking a course on TESOL. I have realized that formal training has the potential to highlight your weaknesses, especially when you start comparing your knowledge and performance with others. It is, however, a wake-up call for those who have resigned themselves to smugness and complacency.

If you want to develop as a teacher, take courses. Any Courses. And read anything that comes your way.

      Thank you.

To develop a comprehensive conversation during teaching hours the materials in this web site helps me a lot. A part of that discussion on the different issues treated here, as well as the different opinions expressed from teachers, their experience makes me think for better way how to reach my goals during the teaching hours. This is very comprehensive from our traditional teaching and the ways how the experiencies or reccomendations given here helps me to approch the needs of the childrens during the teaching process.

I learn something everyday. I realise that lesson plans must adhere to curriculum and benchmarks. I like my lesson plans to be more creative and need based. Boys love sports and girls love fashion. Incorporate these two elements in their learning activities.  They come alive always.

Taking for granted that a teacher who really wants to develop professionally and offer as much as possible to their students will do all the things mentioned by my colleagues and many more, I would like to focus on the interaction taking place within the classroom. What has proved to be of invaluable help to me is my students' feedback-direct and indirect-as well as their overall attitude to the lesson, activities, interaction patterns, myself etc. I feel I am the one who learns from them; I help them discover the language and they 'teach' me how to do it more effectively. OF course, trying things out has also helped me considerably in developing as a teacher whose main concern lies on the actual cultivation of her students. Both practices which have worked well and the ones which have proved to be a disaster have made me the teacher and person I am today. Still a long way to go though. A never-ending procedure which- no matter how hard it might be at times- is so rewarding! :)

It is good to be trained continuesly, attendant workshops for English teachers, and develop your knowledge in others areas as investigation and IT. It helps me a lot to read about the new tendencies of teaching no just in English others areas too. And finally internet is a great tool to keep up date as English teachers
