Theme: It is an undeniable fact that we are living in the high-tech era where new web tools and mobile applications are created almost every day. Hence, it is a requirement to grow into the role of a tech-literate educator. In this webinar, the presenter will introduce some easy and high-tech web tools and mobile applications which enhance language learning and teaching. Participants will learn how 2.0 create effective web-based and mobile learning materials to help learners who are widely diverse and varied in their needs. After exploring the tools and apps, the participants will be able to develop their courseware to collect their materials. Ultimately, they will have a high opinion of what makes good educational courseware.

Speaker: Işıl Boy works as an ICT Coordinator at Yıldız Technical University, School of Foreign Languages, Istanbul, Turkey. She is studying for an MA in Educational Technology and TESOL with the University of Manchester, and this is her second year now. She is also the International Association of Technical English Trainers representative for Turkey, and International Teacher Development Institute’s Associate.
