Confusing words
The following lesson plans, based on Word for Word, all aim to explain the difference between words that are confusing because they look alike, sound alike or seem alike.
Key concept - Fluency  

For the last ten years ELT Journal has been publishing a feature called Key Concepts in ELT. The aim of the feature is to give readers a brief overview of a current topic in ELT and to suggest further reading to follow up some of the ideas presented.

'What should they do?' game  
This is a fun activity aimed at developing children's language skills and awareness. The task involves matching sentences to the appropriate pictorial representation.
