This site looks at the academic essay on two levels. Firstly, it looks at text-level features of essays, providing tips on areas such as the introduction, conclusion and constructing paragraphs, together with the overall approach to essay writing. At a more micro level, individual points of grammar and style, such as the Passive are also analysed to a fair degree of detail.
