I used the first two and last activities in this plan to teach about possessive apostrophes and it worked out well. Family vocabulary was more of a revision topic for my students. Then I added a game to practice possessive apostrophes. The topic of the British Royals was very popular with my students from Burma and they all wanted to keep the pictures.
