There are relatively few articles and very few books on how to train and develop as a teacher educator in ELT. There are, however, far more resources available on how to train and develop teachers.
The Teacher Trainer journal comes out three times a year and has lots of practical articles about teacher training. The website contains a growing bank of articles that can be downloaded free of charge (http://www.tttjournal.co.uk/index.php?page=back_articles).
The IATEFL Teacher Training and Education SIG (Special Interest Group) Newsletter has interesting articles about teacher training and education. The SIG's website has a number of articles from back issues (http://ttedsig.iatefl.org/articlesonline.html).
