The IATEFL ESP Special Interest Group focuses on English for Specific Purposes, English for Academic Purposes and English for Occupational/Professional Purposes. The main aim of the SIG is to disseminate good practice in ESP and to promote models of excellence in ESP to ELT professionals throughout the world. The SIG seeks to achieve its objectives through workshops, seminars and conferences and through publishing its own newsletter/journal.
