Knowledge on the Net
Computers have been used for language learning and teaching for many years. The development of the internet and the World Wide Web in the early 1990's has added another dimension to this resource. The web is interactive, it can be used for communication as well as information.
Knowledge on the Net looks at various aspects of the internet and how it can be exploited by teachers as a resource for themselves and their classroom teaching.

Dear TE Administrator,
It's always a pleasure for us to practise listening materials produced by the BBC World Service. This time we had an enjoyable listening about Searching on the Internet so as to make it faster and more effective.
It was very interesting to listen to Niki (right or wrong spelling?) and Craig talking and providing examples from easier to more advanced searches on the Net.
I've noticed that thousands of downloads have been made... but there were no comments from users. We would like to thank you and BBC World Service Team for this wonderful opportunity available for ELT professionals.
Best regards,
Mª do Céu
