The Cambridge PET exam is compulsory for the students at my school. They sit it at the end of grade 7 at which time they are all expected to be at a B1 level.
I often hear people describing 'gap-fills' as practice tasks. They seem to be common suggestions for Controlled Practice. I see a lot of value in the use of different variations of gap-

It was so long ago... I forgot about my blog. Pity, but I had a lot of things to do after my practice at school. No I'm in completely different place and situation.

We must note that deliberate practice clearly has certain characteristics that are beyond what is reasonable for a public school teacher to implement in the classroom. However, there are at least four areas that have a great deal of relevance to today’s classroom. Read more
