it's a great idea to teach a foreign language with the help of poems...I once did it myself with my eighth graders ...i suggested them learning a poem by heart ....but unfortunately i didnt have any audio of that marvelous poem....they really liked it..we did a lot of discussion ..and next lesson was full of other poems the learners have brought to the classroom themselves..its also a great idea to submit a poem with music..(.i wish i could be present at that seminar)...i have been listening and watching this video more than twice..great work!!!!!!!
here is the poem (of course everybody may know this fantastic piece of work...)
DreamsHold fast to dreams
Langston HughesFor if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
