      Live lesson: dogme

British Council Seminars' first live lesson was taught by Luke Meddings in November 2011. You can watch footage of the 'dogme' lesson in the first video below, in which Luke demonstrates the approach with a group of international students in London. The second video is of a Q&A session Luke did immediately after the live lesson.

You can also download Luke's reflections on the event, and a view from the audience from Seminars regular Scott Sherriff.

While the students are discussing situations when they feel nervous does Luke correct them or intreact somehow? This part is cut out.

It was an innovative way of teaching. But the students should have the prerequisite language to be able to participate. Certainly, the teacher can not start with a vacuum.
