I couldn't agree more with the necessity of constant teachers' development and for me as a former sportsman it is that part of the job that makes this profession so attractive. It's the whole life journey you started once and it never ends if you really love it. From my own experience as a learner and a novice teacher I'd say just try whatever you can to keep your language alive and as my teacher Brian Keith's motto says - Practice makes perfect! Unfortunately, there is no substitute for hard work :). Best of luck with your journeys!
