As Jamie Keddie has been blogging on the subject of using video in class, we thought we'd find out how many of you use video in your language classrooms and how often. If you have any other comments about the use of video in class please leave your comments below.

it really provided me with what I was looking for..
We are extremely lucky to have a wealth of instantly available, high-quality videos from websites such as YouTube and Vimeo to use in our classrooms.
Jamie's work is very inspirational, and I am excited to be experimenting with video in my own EFL context, too.
I rarely use video in class.
Like everything in life it is all about balance. I'm sure in every field there are some essential videos to watch, along with other more traditional mediums of sharing information. Videos are a must though.
I would love to use video in class but unfortunately my school does not have any such facilities available and doesn't seem to be willing to invest in them either.
My idea is to bring my own laptop to the classroom next year, buy a compatible portable multimedia projector and a couple of speakers and teach using videos, powerpoint presentations, etc. The problem is I know NOTHING about multimedia projectors. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thank you all.
