This is the web version of the BBC children's programme Newsround. There are sections on UK, World, Sport, Music, Animals and Science & Technology news among others. It's a great resource for teachers to use for lessons based around current news or for learners to use for research for project work. The site is updated daily, and provides news and articles written in a style that is interesting for children and looks at events from a young person's perspective.
