This activity is appreciated by my students. They are very proud when talking about their private life (family, friends and pets). I noticed that even students that are not so eager to take part in lesson are now more interested in describing the universe they live in.

It's so easy and quickly prepared. Especially teenagers love to show their photos, in almost the same manner they love to share them in the social web.

I always want to attract my students'attention through photos. It's true that it develops especially communicative skills.I often ask my students to bring in class the photos of their families.their task is to describe their appearance.in this way they're practicing English. Now on I'll bring more photos in class.thank you for your ideas.

I have tried this lesson plan with my 7th grade students. I projected some of my photos on the wall. My students liked to fire questions about my photos. They were very curious about each detail in the photo. They also liked to talk about their most embarrasing photo which surprised me a lot. I didn't want to ask this question but they insisted on discussing it. I  was just concerned that it is too personal may be they will be shy to discuss it. Thank you for this lesson plan.

I will start to teach group English class to my colleagues in company, they are all shy and afraid speaking out, even we have learnt so many year English at school in China, but speaking is big problem, so I am voluntter to help them out, but I never  teach before, I know I am not prfessional to teach, and my English is not good enough. but Im good at making thick face:-) So happy to find here, I can get some idea. hope I can get more advice from you guys reacher as well. thank you again!
