This lesson focuses on the topic of pocket money and pester power.

Students will extend their vocabulary related to money and spending, practise speaking skills as they discuss their spending habits, read a text about pocket money in the UK and then devise a class survey in order to compare the situation in their own country. Finally students will take part in a discussion about the pros and cons of teenagers working.

• To learn and practise vocabulary related to money and spending

• To practise question formation

Age group: 12- adult

Level: B1 / B2

Time: 60 – 90 minutes
