      Hello everyone,

      Having never run a Training and Development session before, I suddenly have the opportunity to (possibly)work as a teacher trainer. This is clearly a huge step for me professionally, and I was hoping some of you would have ideas for books/websites on or around this topic.

      All going well, I would be teaching/tutoring/observing and team teaching with non-native teachers teaching secondary school subjects such as science, georgaphy, art, music and sport in English.

      I plan to do thorough web search, and have ordered a book called 'Teaching Teachers' but if anyone has any personal recommendations I'd love to hear them.

      Going from teaching to teacher training is not an small transition and the skills and knowledge expected from a teacher trainer are multifarious and complex.

      Here are some titles that may help you:
