Recommended resources for online TEFL Certification course

I am searching for a good online TEFL Certification course that is recognized internationally. The course needs to be entirely online. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Accreditation requires supervised teaching practice, which is why CELTA and Cert. TESOL awards are not available online.
There are a few certificate-level providers accredited by the QCA at level 4 of the National Qualifications Framework that have broken out ELT/TESOL input and made it available online. However, you still must complete teaching practice at one of their locations for the certificate to be recognized by the British Council.
I am looking into such blended programs by INTESOL Worldwide and EBC Servicios Linguisticos Europe and would suggest you independently verify any program's qualifications with the British Council.
In America, there are University programs online that provide TESOL certification or emphasis through their Education departments. For example, Hamline University. In addition, to teach in public schools, you must also obtain a state license/certification, similar I believe to Postgraduate Certificate of Education in the UK.

I'd agree with the above poster that you need to make sure whoever you do your course with is accredited and that it's internationally recognised - you might want to check out this site which has reviews of the different courses: http://www.teflcoursereview.com/
Also, if you're worried about not having practical teaching experience you might want to do some voluntary teaching at home to migrants before applying to TEFL jobs, as it'll improve your chances dramatically.

A good on-line TEFL course is an oxy-moron I'm afraid.
Pay the cash and go to a centre. It's worth it for just the observations alone.
In my case, I'm planning to take TEFL cert course but I can't decide which is better, TKT KAL or Trinity Cert TESOL? I someone will give me an honest advice. Thanks very much.
