Hi Diana
The best activities are those that are child centered. What I mean is that the students are totally involved and the activities are of high interest to students. Since students have different tastes, you as a teacher should work on different activities to satisfy all the tastes. Acting out is great for dynamic students, drawing and coloring suit artists, writing is great for those shy kids, etc..... While introducing some new vocabulary, you can do all of these activities. Ask students to act out a certain word, and the other students figure it out. Another group will be asked to draw a picture to reveal a certain word, and so on.
What do you think?
