To make a teaching media, it's important to find the topic first, find which competence will you offer to your students and what is the aim of that teaching media. Sometimes, teachers make a teaching media to help the students in the pre-learning activity as prior knowledge or it is in the main learning activity. My suggestion is just make a media which you think you will stare that always because it's too interesting and it must be easy to deal with your students. (:
Hi! I think the other comment is right - you first need a topic or language point or skill which you are going to teach, and then you can choose and develop the media part of your lesson accordingly. But I'm not a fan of using media just for the sake of using media! I would only employ media that actually fit to the content of your lesson! There are other ways of motivating learners and getting the content accross in an interesting and inspiring way than just media-based lessons!
