Native vs non-native
msazini's picture

Hi everyone,

I'm a non-native teacher of English as a foreign language, Italian is my L1. I have been  living and working in the UK for the past 15 years. I passed my Celta with IH in London and hold others qualifications. My question is: do you think I should apply for a British passport in order to increase my chances to find work abroad? For instance, I heard it's quite difficult teaching in Japan and Taiwan without it. Dual nationalities? Is that possible?
