The first stage in the teaching of vocabulary is the introduction of new students. Introduce new words have a very important role in an English school. It can help students grasp the broad content of the unit, grasp the meaning of the word, using the original owner of the teacher. Usual to introduce a new vocabulary, teachers often make the following steps:
- Hints from taught in painting, the real object, for example, situations ......
- Introduction of teaching in English
- Have students listen to three times
- Students repeat new words (the bar 2-3 times)
- Students repeat individuals (2-3 students)
- Teacher training presentation from the board
- Check that word in Vietnamese
- Check the accent of the word
- When finished teaching all new words, students write the play.
Song from the new course does not appear in the course of lectures for students are also included from the new owner. The teacher must know the options, determined from the positive, active in the process of trying to teach and develop their self-learning ability of students to those from non-aggressive type. Besides, teachers have to know to sort the vocabulary taught in all follow a logical sequence, or to create suggestive commentary by theme lesson.

It is pleasure for me to communicate with other teachers from different countries.I noticed that you use Vietnamese word for teaching vocabulary.When I began to work as a teacher at first I explained them the new English words translating them in Armenian.But I realized that it doesn't work.It doesn't develop English thinking among the students.Now i usually use flash cards,mime games and songs to enrich their vocabulary.

I teach vocabulary by using word cards. We play games with this word cards. Students get into small groups and each time a person from a group picks a word, then explains to his/her group, or provides examples and definitions. If the students in his/her group guess the word they get a point!
I sometimes take chocolate for those who win!
