how to make the students interests in English
Submitted by ninnychen1 on 7 June, 2008 - 17:32
Dear friends:
Please give me some advice.
recently, i found most of my students lost interest in english. they hate to recite the words. and they can hardly understand the text. so they hate to learn it, even they hate to read the book ? in class, most of them don't listen to me and chat. i often ask them to stop talking and listen to me. but it's no use. i'll be mad. please tell me what should i do?
besides, could u tell me some games .that can be used in class.
finnally, i don't know if recite more is the only way to improve english?
thanks a lot

Hello....
I don't know the classroom settings you have but I recommend that you bring to class a range of more authentic materials.....things that will interest their age and level of English....
I know the challenge it is to keep them involved in the process of learning the language....
Try looking at my website ...see if you find any light ( :
