TeachingEnglish
English for 4-6 year olds
Submitted by alessandra11 on 9 November, 2008 - 19:09
Hi,
I've never taught this age group before. They like doing activities, but one of the children (there are three) gets bored quickly and doesn't want to do TPR activities, games, etc. Maybe she doesn't like English!!
I'd appreciate any suggestions. This group meets one hour a week.

my class is a big one of 30 6-year-old kids. i teach them 26 english letters and some daily dialogues. some of them can catch up with the lessons, but a few of them seem to have no idea about the lessons. they keep doing things irrelevent t the classes. i've tried some ways, but with little effect. how to keep their ettention in the class?
I also needs little bit help.I'm primary teacher, this is the first time im going to teach 5 -6 year olds spoken english. they are 10 kids in my class who dosent speak english as they use dhivehi (maldivian language) at home. need some help to get them properly to the track on speaking english everyday. I gave them listening activities, talks more with them and explains more.Any suggestions, any activities.
