      English for 4-6 year olds

      Hi,

I've never taught this age group before. They like doing activities, but one of the children (there are three) gets bored quickly and doesn't want to do TPR activities, games, etc. Maybe she doesn't like English!!

I'd appreciate any suggestions. This group meets one hour a week.

Not beinging sure, of what your teaching plan is.  I find that singing, particularly with a CD, helps get their attention.  My groups are bigger than 3, when I feel their attention wandering-ı jump to a song.  As soon as the CD starts, it grabs their attention.  Regards Angie.
