Hi, there ..
It's really a great pleasure to be able to share, post and receive comments from highly successful teachers and experts.
Being an English teacher ( for 3 years !) , I want to know in brief about the current ( most up to date ) approaches in teaching being used thesedays from members teaching OUTSIDE Egypt.I wanna to get comments from ppl who really have tried ( or being ) a new approach.

Hi Kamal,
I recommend these articles:

Task Based Learning is a development of the research/theory that learning is most effective in a meaningful context.
Ofcourse, I'm neither highly successful, nor expert, but wish you all the best,

hi!
its realy nice to share on approaches used in teaching English.I m a pakistani and have wide range of teaching experience. Here in pakistan english is taught as a compulsory subject from grade vi and at college level, the situation varies.at undergrad level students are taught english literature and grammar.in professional colleges, they are taught english a communicative language.
currently the significance of english has been increased manifold.in the context where english is taught as compulsory subject, there is the problem of large classes;hence collaborative teaching method is more effective.group work and group dynamics give you better feed back.
