      Attractive learning environment

      Dear collegues,

I am writing on this forum because I really need help from professionals concerning the topic "Attractive Learning Environment". I am writing a paper on this matter. We agreed with international partners not to speak about physical envirnment for learing, because it's irrelevant. What would be your suggestion to speak up in the report. Do you think it's a good idea to write me about the classrooms which own teachers themselves? Is it possible in the EU countries to make the classrroms better for learining if the teacher has it's own space?

Thank you for help, I hope to cooperate with you, at least some of you, for sure!

      Dear colleague,

Creating a good learning atmosphere and to apply various teaching methods will definitely attracts students to learn a language faster. Some students learn English better when they are in the same class that their friends are and when we are talking about class atmosphere, we should consider many more items which are in this category like the attractiveness of the teaching materials, teacher's personality , knowledge of making good and positive relationship with students and giving variety to the class .

      Best wishes

Some people would argue that classrooms can never be attractive learning environments.

Classroom learning only suits a specific range of learning styles, and many children fail to thrive in the classroom.

It is easier to create unique memories by visiting different environments, compared with learning in the same place every day. This can be achieved in the real world, in Second Life  (a multi user virtual environment), but rarely in the classroom.

Are you considering the effects on learning of an attractive environment?

I think that the classroom should not be a boring place wherein the students dread to enter. It should have an ambiance of a welcoming nature. There should be a lot of learning tools that the students will use, for example for early childhood, colorful and interactive educational computer toys. Also, the teacher must at times, go on a different environment to teach, like maybe outdoors so that the students can sometimes take a breath of fresh air.

As far as ambiance of classroom is concerned, yes undoubtedly it should be attractive place and not dingy where students dread to come. It should promote healthy learning among students. Besides looks various kind of activities should be conducted in the class which creates students interest in the class and we should not stress students rather should kindle the passion to learn English in them...
