Dear Bijaya,
I recently completed Celta at Mumbai. It was an amazing experience. I realised I had to un-learn what I knew of the English Language. I learnt a good teacher has to reduce TTT and increase STT,content of written lessons plans is very important, grammar jargon is very important. I suggest u read Your list of books carefully......,espiciallr Micheal Swan.
I finished Celta an enlightened person and am very happy. today I use CCQ's even at my nursery--it helps. I work with adults in a systematic manner and thanks to CELTA.
It is worth the hard work. bless you.
Juanita.
Dear Juanita,
This is saikrishna from mumbai. I want to take up CELTA this year. I am currently working as a software engineer in TCS.But this job does not interest me.I always had a passion towards teaching english. Is the CELTA course useful. If so, can I depend on it for finding a job in India or abroad. I dont have any previous teaching experience. I will be very pleased if you do reply.
Dear Juanita..
My state is just like Saikrishna. I have completed my Bsc in Accounting and Finance. But i always had the passion to teach kids. Will CELTA be useful for me? I have no teaching experience but would love to work in a school. do reply to us ..
thanks!
