I have a PGCE in post-compulsory education and a Masters in English literature and would like to teach English Literature in Europe, either in a school or college or (with a PhD) in a university.
If I do a PhD would it have to be in English for me to get a job in a European university and if so, do such opportunities exist for British postgraduates?
If I do a Celta TEFL course will I find the teaching restricted to grammar and the pay levels low?
If I do a QTS conversion course to make my PGCE viable for school teaching how many years of school teaching experience would I have to acquire before getting a job in Europe? Would it matter if I had only acquired part time teaching practice?
How many part-time teaching opportunities are there in European schools, colleges or universities and where would I find them advertised?
Is Spain the only country that enables its expat teachers to still have access to NHS free healthcare and social security benefits, or is it all EU countries?
Would these be according to British rules or are they specific to the country you are in and if so how do you find out about them?
How sympathetic are Spain, Italy or France to disability?
Advice appreciated.

Hello people
I am interested in doing MA in TEFL. Can somebody guide me where should I look for the option? In my country Pakistan, there are very few universities offering the program and the cost is high.
regards,
ali
